Worth is a hackathon project created for AdventureX 2026. It is also the first mobile app I have built in earnest. Our team conceived it in one day and built it in two, with me as the primary developer. It has not launched yet.
Worth is a mobile app for making more deliberate purchase decisions. Instead of tracking money after it is spent, it creates a pause before checkout and helps people compare a new impulse with what they already own.
Its conversational agent uses the user's asset library and past discussions to surface relevant facts without deciding for them. Each evaluation ends with three clear paths: buy, wait 24 hours, or skip the purchase.
Money saved by skipping a purchase can be assigned to a wishlist goal, turning restraint into visible progress. The product combines an Expo app with Supabase, a Python API, image-assisted item entry, and daily second-hand market valuations.
